ABOUT THE MOC-PS EXAM STUDY GUIDE:

The MOC-PS Exam Study Guide for surgeons in practice has been completely retooled for 2013!  This year, based on past usage patterns, the MOC-PS Exam Study Guide has been broken up and repackaged into four individual guides based on subspecialty. While in the past, all subspecialty modules were sold in a single package and members could potentially claim 20 CME credits for completing all of them, most users only claimed 6 or 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ as they focused, naturally, on their subspecialty.

For 2013, after updating the question banks and CME allocations of all the modules, ASPS now offers four targeted guides which allow users to purchase the guide specifically covering the exam the ABPS Board has assigned them to. At the same time, users will earn more than double the AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ they generally did for covering similar guides in the past. MOC-PS Exam Study Guides are available for Comprehensive, Cosmetic, Craniomaxillofacial and Hand. Each guide also contains the Core module.
