• Welcome to the future of Continuing Medical Education

PSEN UNIVERSITY provides a virtual master class for plastic surgeons to learn and share surgical experiences. Led by recognized surgical experts, these interactive online courses are limited to 25 physicians to encourage a "small study group" atmosphere and provide all participants with the opportunity to engage and interact throughout the weekly webinar classes.

At large symposia and annual meetings, it can be difficult to spend enough time with key faculty and speakers to get all of your questions answered. In our small PSEN University classes,  you will have the opportunity to interact over the course of multiple live online sessions. PSEN University classes provide the opportunity for more in-depth interaction than a live lecture situation where there are dozens or hundreds of participants. You will also share and critique cases in between live sessions, learning from the experiences of your colleagues as well as from our faculty.

    Dr. McColloughSESSION 1:
    Condition-Specific Rhinoplasty
    E. Gaylon McCollough, MD

    Tuesday, April 12 - May 17
Weekly online live lectures/discussion will last 1-hour and begin at 8 p.m. CST. For specific weekly webinars, the course will include an additional viewing and reading in preparation of the online class.

    About this Course:

Complications are usually covered at the end of a course, but in the spirit of re-thinking conventional wisdom, we begin this session with complex cases and ask "How did we get here? How did this happen? Where did we begin?"

In Dr. McCollough's condition-specific approach, the conditions of the specific patient determine which decisions are made; this approach looks beyond the viewpoint of universal right or wrong methods, but rather focuses on choosing the appropriate intervention based on the conditions of the case.
